The Channel Manager is responsible for leading the development and optimization of channel programs in support of Consumer Power topline revenue goals. Key accountabilities include overall program effectiveness and channel partner growth.
This position will be expected to collaborate closely with Consumer Power sales leadership, channel marketing, business analytics, and channel management teams in support of shared program goals. This role also operates with a significant level of independence and decision-making rights to ensure program ROI, partner adoption and growth goals are achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owns single and multi-channel programs to sell and service customers across CP business.
- Owns external program partner relationships; sets strategic direction, manages budgets and ongoing program maintenance.
- Drives sales results by developing strategies, playbooks and trainings to support program growth and adoption.
- Ensures integration of strategic priorities, new products, and marketing strategies into program offerings.
- Develops program objectives, KPIs, and reporting; makes program recommendations to sales and channel leadership.
- Manages all customer communications to support and grow programs; develops value proposition and annual marketing plans.
- Gathers and maintains market intelligence and ensures adoption of industry leading practices into program offerings.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 8 yrs. direct experience in managing sales and financing programs in B2B environment
- Prior experience creating, implementing, and reporting against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Demonstrated ability to translate program financial results, trends and key insights into impactful strategies that drive growth Deep understanding of market segmentation and customer journeys in B-to-B environment
- Prior multi-channel program experience within a large, matrixed organization.
- Market / data analytics experience
- Ability to build relationships and work across teams, departments and customers
- Deep understanding of sales process
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key business partners to develop and execute strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to make informed, data driven decisions & recommendations.
